Xiaomi HyperOS 3 Launch Date Revealed! Check If Your Device Is on the First Update List

Xiaomi fans, the wait is almost over! The company has officially confirmed that its next big update — HyperOS 3 — is coming very soon. And guess what? We already have the full list of devices that will be the first to get it.

The update will initially roll out to six flagship smartphones and two premium tablets, with a beta program kicking off right now.

Xiaomi HyperOS 3 Launch Date Announced

Xiaomi has revealed that HyperOS 3 will be launched on August 28 during a special event. The company is promoting the update with the tagline “Everything Goes Smoothly”, hinting at super-smooth transitions and a more fluid experience.

While Xiaomi hasn’t shared all the details yet, HyperOS 3 will be based on Android 16, which means we can expect a fresh design and some major interface changes.

Beta Testing Starts – How to Enroll

In a post on social media, Lu Weibing, Xiaomi’s Partner and President, confirmed that the HyperOS 3 beta program is now live. If you’re eager to try it first, you can sign up on the Xiaomi Community Internal Testing Centre. Once registered, you’ll start receiving beta updates on your eligible device.

Interestingly, Xiaomi was initially expected to roll out HyperOS 3 alongside the Xiaomi 16 series, but it looks like the company is surprising everyone with an early launch. For reference, HyperOS 2 debuted with the Xiaomi 15 series in October 2024, so this is ahead of schedule.
